Hydronic Heating System Service (Aqua-Hot / Oasis)

Hydronic systems like Aqua-Hot and Oasis heat the coach's water and cabin air through a diesel or propane-fired boiler that circulates heated glycol through a closed loop. These systems are efficient but the burner assembly is the most common failure point: clogged or worn nozzles, dirty electrodes, and fuel pump issues can all cause a burner to fail to ignite, smoke, or shut down on a fault code. We clean and test nozzles, check electrode gap and spark, and verify fuel pressure before condemning a burner assembly outright.

Beyond the burner, we check boiler fluid level and condition, since low or degraded heat transfer fluid reduces output and can accelerate wear on the pump and heat exchangers. We also test the zone valves and circulation pumps that route heated fluid to the various loops, including the water heater coil, floor heat, and cabin heat exchangers, since a stuck valve can leave one zone cold while others work fine.

Because these systems tie together domestic hot water and cabin heat in one loop, a failure often shows up as both a comfort problem and a hot water problem at the same time, which is a useful diagnostic clue we use to narrow down where in the loop the fault actually is.
